About the Ministry...

Tom Franzak spent a number of years pursuing fame and fortune as a musician, migrating from Nazareth, PA to Los Angeles, CA in the 70's. At the prompting of his manager (a former Benedictine nun), he decided to make a retreat at what is now Prince of Peace Abbey in Oceanside, California.  After a dramatic encounter with God while on retreat, he knew God was challenging him to conversion and active participation in the life of the Church. Thus began the long journey through which his life has been blessed by the friendships, experiences and the opportunities to share Jesus Christ through music that only God can provide!

Inspired primarily by the Beatles, Tom fell in love with short and sweet pop songs, played in local bands growing up, and went on to pursue a career in pop music.  Of course, after a close encounter with God,  short and sweet pop songs also provided an appealing form in which to express faith and great truths, as well!
